Mitra Oy
Mitra Oy is the real estate organization of the city of Imatra, whose core activities are the management of business and office premises, rental apartments and shared ownership apartments, as well as hosting, development and property management. Before moving to the new premises, it was decided to do a renovation. Mitra wanted CDM as a partner, inspired by the recommendations they received from their customers. The design included color and material choices as well as furniture, textile and lighting design.
An open office, workstations, conference rooms, spaces for quiet work, various meeting spaces were planned for the 450 square meter premises. The sauna department, which is also rented out, also underwent renovation. The starting point of the design was comfort, because at Mitra, as a rule, we work in an office, we have a lot of discussions and solve things all at once. The personnel participated in the planning and selections. Sustainable development and the fact that existing things could be recycled were also important. The hope was to get a sleek and harmonious whole from the combination of new and old.
